The combination of the 4-way stretch nylon outer fabric and the elastic padding gives these shorts outstanding stretch-fit comfort. The three-dimensional structure of the lightweight Elk nylon fleece outer fabric offers improved air permeability, elasticity and durability as well as optimal moisture transport. The outer fabric is also coated with a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish.

The 60g TirolWool® Responsive Stretch insulation keeps you nice and warm even when wet, and also offers the benefits of thermoreactive synthetic insulation. TirolWool® is made from wool from high alpine Tyrolean mountain sheep and sourced from local farmers. For the patented Responsive technology, thermoreactive minerals are incorporated into synthetic yarns. These recycle the natural infrared energy emanating from the body, releasing it gradually for greater comfort, better performance and faster recovery.

Thanks to the ergonomically cut waist with stretch panels, these shorts fit comfortably over alpine pants. The full-length side zipper not only allows you to quickly put on and take off the shorts, even with mountain or ski boots, it also provides maximum ventilation and convenient access to the layers of clothing underneath.
