SALEWA Lightning Carbon 240 Plus Avalanche Probe

<p>The Salewa Lightning Carbon 240 Plus avalanche probe is a very light system of carbon segments and optimized for professional use in avalanche searches.</p><p>The “Plus” refers to the length expandability by additional 40 cm segments, which can be screwed on the upper end if necessary. The necessary extension segments are available separately (not included!).</p><p>The 5 stable carbon segments are connected by a robust steel cable – a proven system for minimizing the packing length. Thanks to the automatic fixing system with intuitive handle, the probe can be set up in a flash, remains reliably in position and offers very good handling due to its large diameter of 13 mm.</p><p>In addition, probing is facilitated by the drop-shaped enlarged diameter of the tip and the good recognizability of the length markings at 5 cm intervals.</p>
