These technical softshell pants for men are suitable not only for alpine climbing in rugged rock faces, but equally for alpine mountain tours in stable weather conditions.

The versatile, durable Durastretch fabric is used in the Orval Pants. With its 4-way stretch material, ergonomic fit with pre-shaped knee area, the softshell pants are completely geared towards climbing and give full freedom of movement on any climb, no matter how demanding. For light weather protection, the pants are equipped with a PFC-free DWR coating (durable water repellent).

The athletic cut with straight-cut pant legs scores points during mountaineering as well as on the approach to the wall. In addition, the fit leaves the view of the smallest steps on the wall free to allow precise footwork when climbing. The waistband, equipped with belt loops, snap and zipper at the fly, fits perfectly under the climbing harness for a secure fit.

The reinforced, cut-resistant inserts on the inside of the leg cuffs also guarantee additional protection from sharp rock edges and abrasion from scree. Small items such as bolts or topo are stowed in the zippered pockets.
